For the first question is in two parts (a) and (b). You can choose which of the following three posters you write about.
1 (a) Explain how one technical and one symbolic code has been used in the film poster to position the audience and construct meaning. Use an example of each code from the poster to support your answer.
1 (b) Explain how one value is depicted through the representations in the film poster. Use media terminology and an example from the poster to support your answer.

2. For the second question, you will be required to name a genre (for example, horror in film, soap opera in television or role-playing in gaming) and explain its narrative and genre conventions, and audience expectations of the genre. Support your answer with specific examples from a media work.
