The Power of Editing
Allow 8 - 10 hrs for this module.

This is a chance for you to embrace the power of editing, with creative licence to change a film into something it was not originally intended to be.  You should use all the post-production tools you have access to - editing the video, music, sound effects etc., to create a movie trailer or a different genre to the original film.

See the videos below for examples and inspiration, and your teacher will provide the original movie file(s) for you to begin the fun!

Assessment - due Week 5

You will be assessed on:

1. The Gestalt Output - the video coherent, and is even better than the sum of its parts.

2. Use of Titles - minimum of one at the beginning and one at the end.

3. Use of Sound - music and/or sound effects.

4. Technical

You will need to submit the final video, as well as a screen shot of the final timeline so we can all see what went into your project.
